Evening Photos

We had a wonderful sunset last evening. I thought that I had missed the best part but I don't think this photo is too bad.

Here is the same sunset from a rabbit's eye view.

Then, looking the other way, I saw the "snow" moon was coming up.

wow, thats amazing, beautiful!
thakyou for your camera info, I took the plunge and have just got a Canon C2 1S, mainly for its 12x optical zoom(on my blog see 'zoom envy, 31st January, what buzzards??). I have just sold a Finpix 610 to pay towards it, the finepix did have amazing macro though and I loved to take pictures of flowers with it, hope I can get to grips with the canon!

Wonderful sunset. You definitely caught it. I love the "snow" moon, too. Quite beautiful.

Great pictures as always. I like the one of the moon especially. I think it is very challenging to get night sky pictures.

Amazing. What kind of camera do you use? I really want to be able to take better pictures....

CG, Good luck with the Canon. I have a friend that loves his.

L, Glad you liked it.

P, Thanks!

R, The camera and I were almost on the ground for the rabbit's eye view.

RD, Just trying to keep up with you.

3C, I took several photos to get the moon just right.

M, I wrote about the camera a blog or two back in the comments, but this one is a shared Fujifilm FinePix S9000. We share because it costs too much for me to buy by myself.

All very nice pictures, but the one of the "snow moon" is simply gorgeous!
