April Showers?

Hoping for April showers as the cistern in the barn is too low for the water pump to bring up water. It is a bit of a pain to haul water from the house all the way down to the barn to water all the animals.

Meanwhile, there have been things to blog about but it just didn't happen. A few things of note:

Song Sparrows, Meadowlarks, and Cowbirds have all returned and are singing around the house. The Spring Peepers are calling loudly with a Chorus Frog or two in the mix.

At the end of March I did the 30 km (18.6 mile) run around the Hamilton Bay for one more time. I keep saying it's the last and, since I turned 70 in January, I think I really mean it this time. I just had to do it one more time. The last 3 km were very painful but I did finish.

Our new dog Sadie, is doing well and we are all learning more about how to get along with each other.
