It's starting to look very cold there in that sunrise shot. And we haven't seen a dazzling blue sky like that for days. On winter solstice, how much daylight will you have?
You've still got so much color! With this warm weather, the early snow we got has melted. The only color that really remains are the orange-gold needles of tamarack and the dried-on leaves of American beech.
RD, It's is surprisingly warm for November and we still have leaves on the trees. Usually by this time it's a lot colder and sometimes with snow on the ground. We've not seen any snow yet. I have worked outside in a tee-shirt for the last two days with almost record high temperatures. We will have 8 hours and 58 minutes of light on winter solstice. Yes, we are further south than you in spite of being in Canada. Our latatude is about the same as central Nebraska, I think.

Love the shot of the sunrise Wanderer, it reminds me of fall in the Duck Mountains near my home town, well except for the fence and the lawn.
