Hawks and Flowers

The sunrise was not too exciting this morning but when I was walking the dog I saw this hawk in a nearby tree.



Here it is a bit closer. I am thinking it is a 1st year Light juvenile Red-tailed Hawk.



I tried to get closer by walking slowly and not looking up at it but when I did look, it was gone. Guess I got up too late to fool it. Oh well, I did find a neat Sow Thistle later when looking down.
