Sunset Trees - Sit Spot #618 - October 6, 2020












When I came out of the barn
just a minute or two before sunset
with the sun very low on the horizon
this is how our walnut trees were glowing.

Blue Jays,

Red-tailed Hawk,

Robins,

(Traffic noises),

Wind in trees,

Unidentified chirps,

Chipmunk in my Brush Pile,

Along the trails -

Wind in trees,

Insect calls,

Mushrooms,

Leaves rustling underfoot,

Long Garter Snake - probably female,

A few low flying beige moths,

White-breasted Nuthatch,

Blue Jay,

Crows,


Kitchen Window and Bird Feeder - 

Blue Jays,

Cardinals,

Chickadees,

Mourning Doves,

Goldfinches,

Red-breasted Nuthatch,

White-breasted Nuthatch,

Black Squirrels.
