Along the trails -

Donkey braying,

Goats bleating,

White-breasted Nuthatch,

Blue Jays,

Flowers in the garden by the porch

  were eaten by deer last night.


The wire fence that I put up

  around the  Red Trilliums

  about 17 years ago  

  was taken down last night.

  I presume deer.

  Some of the shoots for next spring

  were eaten off.
