Swans - Sit Spot #773 - March 11, 2021







I missed three other fights
of Tundra Swans but caught these.




March 11, 2021 9:40 a.m.

Sit 773  : Brush Pile W : Mostly Cloudy 

+16° (+14°) SW 33-44 55% humidity 


Crows cawing in distance,

(Traffic noises),

(Train),

Wind in trees,

Blue Jays,

Bluebirds,

Tree branches squeaking in wind,


Extras:

6:20 a.m. - Cardinals singing,


8:15 a.m. @ East porch -

Lots of unidentified bird chirps,

Followed by noise of construction work to east,

Cardinals singing,

Red-winged Blackbirds calling,

Crows cawing,

Blue Jays screaming,

White-breasted Nuthatch calling,

Chickadees "fee bee" calls,

Robin in meadow,

Tundra Swans flying overhead,


Along the trails -

Red-winged Blackbirds,

Rooster crowing,

White-breasted Nuthatch calling,

Goldfinches "potato chip chip" calls, 

Crows in distance, 

Crunch & crackle of snow & ice some places,

Squish of mud & water other places, 

1st Killdeer calling!

Bluebirds calling,

10:17 2nd flock of Tundra Swans today,

(Could not get camera out soon enough),

10:20 3rd flock of Tundra Swans,

10:21 4th flock of Tundra Swans,

Mourning Doves calling, 

7:00  p.m. - American Woodcock calling!


Kitchen Window and Bird Feeder -

Blue Jays,

Cardinals,

Chickadees,

Mourning Doves,

Goldfinches,

White-breasted Nuthatch,

Black Squirrels,

Ladybug inside the kitchen,

Wasp inside the kitchen.
