Late afternoon walk . . .
Not one bird sound.
Only the sound of snow underfoot

Rustling leaves underfoot where snow had melted,
Kitchen Window and Bird Feeder -
Blue Jays,
Cardinals,
Chickadees,
Goldfinches,
White-breasted Nuthatches,
Black Squirrels,
Red Squirrel.
