OK, now I am over my dizzy spells and Gertrude, our mother goat, is dizzy. Fleur-Ange called the vet and she came over and gave Gertrude several injections today and left more to be given over the next week. Thank goodness for neighbours that can give needles!!!

It must be pretty disconcerting for a goat to be dizzy. Makes me wonder what would make a goat dizzy. Inner ear problems? I hope she gets better soon.
The vet said it was something called Goat Polio. Not the same as our polio but potentially deadly for the goat. She is doing well now after a few days of treatment. Back to her normal self.
