One more half marathon under my feet.
Ran a few seconds faster than
the one in the spring
but
felt good 99% of the time
on this run
still had energy left at the end
and did not feel terribly sore.
A different story
on the morning after
but i think I will recover
fairly quickly.
Just need to move
and not sit too much.

My daughter ran the NY Marathon yesterday. I, on the other hand, chose not to walk the two miles to work this morning.
Hmm...I commented on this earlier today, but for some reason my comment did not show up.
What I said was, it looks like 1961 was a good number for you.
Congratulations!
I did an 'almost half marathon' rowing on Lake Oconee last Thursday. Sympathize completely with you on the 'morning after.' And not just the morning after - it's taking a few days to recover but each day get a little easier. :-)
You inspire us all! :) Congratulations, OW. :)
I don't know how you do it! I am impressed.
My late apologies to all who commented. It has been so long since I worked with my blog that I forgot I had to "approve" comments as they came in. I will try to do better in 2011.
