Almost . . .

Almost . . .

Winter Aconite (Eranthus hyemalis) is almost in bloom in Hamilton. It's not even out of the ground at our place near Brantford. It may have been blooming by the end of the day but I was looking at it at noon today.
Meanwhile, the Red-winged Blackbirds arrived today at our place and the American Robins were singing too. I wonder when the next snow will arrive.

I'm not letting this nice weather fool me into spring is here. I'm sure we will get another dose of winter soon.

Yes, snow in the forecast for tomorrow and the next day but the worst is over. The late winter snows do not last as long. The Red-winged Blackbirds have arrived and the Wild Turkeys are calling.
