Took out Blue Box & Garbage,

Made crêpes that I forgot yesterday

My trash can of boards was not collected,

1.3 km Trail walk with Marigold, 

Drove to WGSC for morning yoga,

Afternoon Activities -

After lunch, I collected two sleds full of branches

   and put them In the burn barrel,

Slept for 30 minutes in my Lazyboy Chair,

Drove to Brantford for Foot treatment,

Returned home for a 4 km road walk,

Took Marigold out for 1 km trail walk,

Did sit spot on the porch during heavy snow,

Snow all melted for now,

Worked on digital painting,

Seen or Heard from Kitchen -

Red-winged Blackbirds,

Blue Jay,

Cardinal,

Chickadees,

Mallard duck flying overhead,

Flicker,

Goldfinches,

Grackles,

Juncos,

Robin,

Turkey Vultures flying overhead,

Forgot to mix up crepes,

(How could I forget something that I

   have been doing every Sunday for 4 years?),

Made pancakes for breakfast,

2.1 Trail walk with Marigold,

No frog songs in a.m. but the usual

   Spring Peepers, Chorus Frogs, & Wood frogs in p.m.

Spent remainder of morning cleaning in barn,

Sawed up old boards into fireplace sizes,

Took apart old gates, feed stalls, etc.,

Cleaned up just outside the barn door,

Again sawing up old gates etc. into fireplace sizes,

Burned some of the more rotten wood,

Put board ends with nails into garbage bin,

Hope the will take them tomorrow,

Afternoon Activities -

Cleaned up 2 flower beds on east side of house,

Burned old leaves and stalks,

Saw a Yellow Jacket Hornet on the ground,

(Perhaps I disturbed it’s winter hiding place),

Took an hour’s nap,

4 km Road Walk on my own,

Saw 1st  Coltsfoot blooms of the year,

Started evening dog walk but

   gunshots heard in west so dog would not walk,

Worked on today’s digital art play,

Seen or Heard from Kitchen -

Mourning Dove,

Drove to Brantford Gretzky track,

Walked 5 km on my own,

(Decided to not risk cold rain),

(Of course it didn’t rain),

Finished calendar log at home,

Listened to CBC “Under the Influence”,

Afternoon Activities -

Listened to CBC Quirks & Quarks”,

Slept for an hour in my easy chair,

Took my saw out to work on west trail,

Removed a limb that was hanging over the trail,

Also took out some large grapevines 

   that were on one of the meadow trails,

2 km Trail walk with Marigold and did a late sit spot,

(Lots of frog songs in the west pond),

Worked on digital art after supper,

Seen or Heard from Kitchen -
