Morning Activities -

Took over an hour to drive to Hamilton

   for Doctor’s appointment,

Waited about an hour and fifteen minutes

   for the appointment to happen,

Spent over an hour to drive back home

   including a stop for something to eat,

And the morning was gone,

Afternoon activities -

3 km trail walk with the dog,

   Not one bird seen or heard,

Crazy +15° temperature for this Feb. 9,

Afternoon nap to make up for not sleeping

   much last night,

Another 1 km dog walk

   and the afternoon disappeared,

Where does the time go?

Seen or Heard from Kitchen -

Goldfinches,

White-breasted Nuthatch,

Red-bellied Woodpecker,

Black Squirrel,

Grey Squirrel.
