Dryad's Saddle

For almost a week now, we have been watching the growth of a Dryad's Saddle mushroom. They grow quickly.

Églantine looked under the Dryad's Saddle one morning and found water droplets.

Ontario Wanderer looked on top of the Dryad's Saddle and found a small puddle with the sun reflected.

I like the progression. Nicely documented. The water droplets are beautiful.

Wonderful illustration of the growth rate of these fungi!

You both do the most amazing things with closeup photography. I love the promise of the green sprout under the chandelier of water droplets; ow's image on the other hand looks like the dawn of something quite ancient. Exquisite photos!
