January 13 Warm Spell
We've lost all of our snow. The temperatures have gone to near record highs. Mushrooms are coming up. . .
Three Shrikes and you're out. But this was only one Northern Shrike three times so I'm not out.
Temperatures went "down" to +3 C last night and were up to +10 C for over five hours this afternoon. Crazy weather!!!

I'm finally making blog rounds for again for the first time since school started at the end of Dec., and I can't get over how we're all exclaiming about the weather. Deb has pictures of pussy willows. I've got a churning lake, and Dave posted about the rain and warm temperatures too. Amazing.
Love the 3 shrikes. I got a good laugh.
I guess weather is always a good topic but it sure is frustrating this winter and was last summer too. The temperatures are feeling much warmer these days than those I remember from the past.
I wish I could see Shrike here in NC...sigh.
