Chopped wood for fireplace,
Walked 3 k of windy, snowy, trails,
Not one animal seen or heard,
Only a few wind blown tracks in snow,
Many, many branches down on the ground,
All the tall meadow grasses knocked down,
Most of the Goldenrod & Aster stems down,
Took a late afternoon nap,
Made Potato,Onion, Mushroom, & Eggs for supper,
Seen or Heard from Kitchen -
Cardinals,
Chickadees,
Mourning Doves,
Juncos,
White-breasted Nuthatch,
Downy Woodpecker,
Ladybug in kitchen,
Grey Squirrel.
