Jack-in-Pulpit - Sit Spot #605 - September 23, 2020












Something took or ate all the berries
from this Jack-in-the-Pulpit.
This is the support structure under the seeds.

Chipmunk Chipping,

(Jet, traffic noise),

(Republic Airlines Flight 8809...),

Tall Goldenrod blooming nearby,

Canada Goldenrod blooming nearby,

Calico Aster blooming nearby,

Arrow-leaved Aster blooming nearby,

Daisy Fleabane blooming nearby,

12:15 a.m.- Crickets &insects calling, 


6:50 a.m.-

       Crickets & insects calling, 

       Crows,

       (Traffic noises),


Along the trails -

Cricket & Insect calls,

Spring Peepers,

White-throated Sparrow,

Blue Jays,

Crows, 

Small low flying beige moths,

Bees buzzing around my head,

Many bats in p.m.,


(While trying to brush away bees

 from my head and hair, I accidentally 

 also brushed away my right hearing aid.

 I was not able to find it again in the

 Goldenrods, Asters, Dogbanes and Grass.)


Kitchen Window and Bird Feeder - 

Blue Jays,

Song Sparrow on west side of kitchen,

Gray Squirrels.
