Sit Spot - Fen Walk - Destruction - Mar. 19, 2020

Crows,
(Jet, traffic noise)
(FedEx Express flight 1914...)
Red-winged Blackbirds,
Robins,
Blue Jays,
2 Unidentified ducks flying overhead 
Red-bellied Woodpecker,

Extras:
6:50 a.m. Lots of Robins calling
    and Goldfinches, a Mourning Dove
    and one noisy Mallard Duck
@ Grand River- many Song Sparrows /
    still none at home
@ home...
Chickadees,
Juncos,
White-breasted Nuthatch,
Downy Woodpecker.








Around 11 a.m. Fleur-Ange and I started
a "short" walk to the
Brantford Perched Prairie Fen
near Kraemer's Way.




The fen and Skunk Cabbage Flowers



We decided to take a 
longer route back
to the car.





A massive gravel pit operation got in our way.




So our short walk turned into
about 8 km.
