It's amazing that the beastie can fly with such a small tail.
My dog has a much longer tail and can't fly.
Wonderful flight shots. What a magnificent bird to have living near you.
Thanks Pam, It's not too near. Lake Ontario, where these birds are most easily found, is about 20 km away.
