Afternoon Activities -
Had difficulty starting my waterfront walk,
Very sore hips and feeling fatigued,
However, warmed up after a km and managed
to walk 4 km
Trail had been plowed but all the benches were snow covered
so I did not do my usual sit spot there,
Took a nap when I got home,
Took the dog out about 3:30 to do a shortened walk
and did my sit spot in the east brush pile,
Fresh deer tracks by the east brush pile and
near the west pond as well as through the yard
near the barn,
Forgot to list all the tracks in the snow yesterday,
Deer,
Rabbit,
Rodent trails,
Squirrels,
and probably coyote,
(coyote tracks were old but fairly obvious),
Neighbour and dog tracks were there too,
Seen or Heard from Kitchen -
Blue Jay,
Cardinal,
Chickadees,
Mourning Dove,
Junco,
Downy Woodpecker,
Red-Bellied Woodpecker,
Red Squirrel.
