While I was out on Friday looking for wild flowers still in bloom, I could not help but stop for some late fall colour. The willows, shown here, as well as oaks and beeches still have leaves hanging on to the twigs. The colours and the reflections in the water caught my eye.

Great photos! Both of them.....
From the fog encircled woods - the reflections of the river seem so inviting.
Thanks Threecollie!
Endment, Actually this is a bay off of the Hamilton harbour at the east end of Lake Ontario. There are several small creeks that empty into this area and, in turn, the water goes out into Lake Ontario. The water looks deep from the road but I found, when in my canoe, that it is very shallow in many spots.
The willows have been fantastic here too--turning a saffron color unlike the ones you photographed. The rabbit is a cheerful sight.
