End of November
Southern Ontario, near Hamilton and Toronto, is having very strange weather for the end of November. Yesterday the Spring Peeper frogs were singing and we found a Forsythia bush in bloom. The record high temperature for Hamilton on November 29 was 15.1 C. Yesterday, the temperature reached 15.3 C.

That's incredibly warm for this time of the year. We're having an unusual winter, as well. More snow and ice than ever!
Weirdly warm here too, with a major cold front headed in tonight. I fear we will lose a lot of perennials this winter as they are putting out new growth.
I think the bitter cold we are experiencing here in Kansas City is making its way your direction. Hang on!
You're the only one I know who sees flowers (alive) in winter, OW. I love it!
Forsythias are still losing their leaves here (northwest Georgia).
Hi Robin, Well, we've had more seasonal weather for the last few days and even snow.
Threecollie, I have been surprised in years past at shrubs and flowers blooming late but they seem to survive to do it again.
Pablo, Yes, we got some but not too much cold.
Lené, Fewer flower for the first week of December are hanging on. I only found 23 species in bloom this past week.
Hi Mark, Guess I should check out the Forsythias again this week to see what the cold has done to them.
