Soup - Sit Spot #633 - October 21, 2020

Working on my cooking skills . . .

I have made this Leek Potato Soup a couple of times

but this evening 

I added a Bechamel Sauce 

to help add some flavour and 

thicken the soup up a little.

Gummosis - Sit Spot #632 - October 20, 2020

Gummosis is sap leaking from a break in tree bark. In this case it is from a Black Cherry and there were numerous places where this was happening on one of the trees on our property. It is pretty to look at but means that the tree has a problem. Probably a canker of some sort that needs to be removed in order to save the tree.
