Perhaps it was the cooler weather making the bumblebee slower to move and more interested in the flower than in the camera that kept getting closer and closer. I almost touched the bumblebee with the lens on this last photo that I took of him.
What you cannot see is the hordes of mosquitoes.

Still trying to make a simple point and shoot camera take photos that I like. This took quite a few tries but worked out well in the end.
Fleur-Ange, our dog Calla, and I went for a walk this morning and were met by a group of friendly bikers. No one offered us a ride however.
Seed dispersal of the Geranium looks like fun and brings SPRING to mind.
