Our day lilies are blooming at various points all around our property. I really like their orange colours.

I was on my way out to take our dog on a late afternoon walk when I saw the sunlight streaming through the trees in our yard. I had to stop for a few photos. I like this one the best.

Look at all the Queen Anne's Lace growing at the edge of the west meadow. I do love living in the country. Now if I could only figure out how to move the highway that is on our north border . . .

Another RBG Earth Art Exhibit: This one is from Bob Verschueren from Belgium. About this work he writes, "Since 1978, my arts practice has been entirely oriented toward nature, using nature's bounty as material and as the source for my inspiration . . . . My installation XXX/08 consists of three large urns out of which flow white fir branches, signifying that the landscape of Hamilton is punctuated by waterfalls . . . the perfect expression of the continuing flux of life."

Finished Work from Neville Gabie at the RBG Earth Art Show: The constructed cube is made from a red oak tree that was felled due to its having died due to the gypsy moth and dry weather. The stump of the tree is next to the art piece. Neville cut up the logs into cubes of various sizes and them fit them together into a giant cube the sits by the old stump.
