Several Red-winged Blackbirds calling

  in & near our west meadow!

Tiny insects flying at my eye level,

2 flights of Canadian Geese flying overhead,

Cardinal singing "wick, wick, wick”,

This is a common sedge 

on our property

but I do not know its name.

Just enjoying the green today.

Odd “chur r r r r r r r r r r" calls???

   (A little bit like the bluebird call

    But slower, a bit lower in pitch,

    And steady, not rising or falling.)
