The water in the marsh at Princess Point in Hamilton is shallow so it freezes fairly quickly. So far this winter I have only seen walkers, skaters, and cross country skiers on the ice but usually ice boats come out too before the winter is over.

Églantine and I visited Paris in May of 2004 and took a side trip to Monet's garden in Giverny. It was a wonderful art trip and I have no idea why I have not put up more photos from that adventure. Do you recognize the bridge?

Just a small streamlet with bits of ice on the RBG property. Most of the stream was covered with ice but this little open spot caught my attention.
