I have been able to get a kite high up into the sky at least two times in my life and have had many failures and broken kites and was even attacked by one that I made. Sigh! Charlie Brown's plight was often mine.
This young woman was flying her kite at Bayfront Park near the Hamilton Harbour in Hamilton, Ontario.

Space Crystallization
I am not quite sure how this fits in with the "earth art" theme of the RBG exhibit but, regardless, I really like the look of this sculpture! Having it float, well out of reach of people, on Sunfish Pond, makes it special too. When I checked on the internet, I found that Ludwika Ogorzelec is well known for her stretched plastic sculptures. (I may have to stretch my "found material" art to the store to buy some cling wrap to give it a try; but then again, maybe not. Still debating between the look and the philosophy of reuse and recycle and reduce.)

The Three Observed
Another sculpture set from Queen's University in Kingston, ON. This one is by Bill Vazan and sits in front of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre on campus. (It reminds me of aboriginal rock paintings in Australia.)
