About thirty years ago, I used to do several yoga poses every morning including at least 5 minutes of headstand. I am trying to reestablish the habit. So far I am doing deep breathing, fish pose, and dead bug pose. Perhaps I will eventually get back to my headstands.

Where's That Kid?
I thought if I put the lead on the young goat that Gertrude would stay close. She kept a close watch but did not spend too much time close to the two of us. It took her a long time to get out of the barn and then she did not want to go back in either. I finally figured out the problem was the ice at the doorway. She did not like walking on the ice at all.

Goat Walking
We only need to put a lead on one goat. The other will follow. Maybe we don't need the one lead but we have not had the goats long enough to know that. They are becoming more and more friendly everyday. I am looking forward to spring thaw so I can build a fence and let the goats go out everyday when they want.

Did Someone Ask for a Tree Trimmer?
Yes, she was that close. She was about 10 steps from the porch eating our Holly. I think the deer are getting a bit too familiar now. Perhaps things will be better when some of the snow melts. There is a small herd of 8 deer that are eating shrubs and evergreen trees by us and our next door neighbours. They ignore our barking dog as she is tied up, but they still run from us for a few metres anyway.

Spring Forward
So glad the time change happened so I could get out even earlier to play in the snow with my shovel . . . . (It's all my fault. I did not join the ski club this year for the first time in about 30 years.)
