My Bit

My Bit, originally uploaded by Ontario Wanderer.

Having been a Canadian for over 30 years, I could not vote for Obama but I feel that I helped a bit as I was one of about 30 000 (or 50 000?) to walk with Martin Luther King in his Selma to Montgomery march in March of 1965 into Montgomery, Alabama urging civil rights for all Americans. (Photo is a detail copy from May 1965 Ebony Magazine.)

Below are three more photos which I took. All were published first on Flickr.

You've had a remarkable journey. That was quite a momentous walk in 1965.

Thanks for the comments. I am not getting around to commenting very much on Blogs these days so I get few comments in return. Too much time on Flickr means too little time for blogs.
